The start of our Easter weekend brought happy news and filled us with wonder, we had my second ultrasound on Good Friday first thing in the morning and discovered we are having a baby boy! The baby is doing very well, happy as can be and very active in the ultrasound! He likes to stretch his long legs up and touch his toes with his little hands, must be all my swimming and pilates he's taking after! It was incredible seeing his heart flutter like a humming bird and see every part of him thriving. Patrick and I were completely in awe and to learn now we are having a son makes this whole experience even more special.
We were lucky to get four small videos of the baby moving around during the ultrasound and several pictures to take home. He was very active so most are a bit blurry. We think the little foot looks like a bear paw with little claws, which is just him moving and the bones showing, still very cute! You can see baby's profile showing his little hand up by his face. This was the last ultrasound before baby arrives, our last peek inside, next we can hardly wait to feel him kicking. It was a memorable weekend!
